Learn how to claim
- How to Play EuroMillions
Follow the steps below to learn how to play EuroMillions both online on your phone or computer and at lottery retailers in the UK. Tickets cost just £2.50 per entry and it only takes two minutes to get started.
Select Your Numbers
To play EuroMillions, you must select five main numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Stars between 1 and 12.
When playing online, you will need to enter your numbers into the relevant fields, or when playing in-store, you will need to put a thick horizontal line through your chosen numbers on the playslip.
Alternatively, you can select the 'Lucky Dip' option to have random numbers generated for you.
Choose How Many Lines to Play
Your playslip is divided into multiple 'boards' or 'lines', enabling you to submit more than one entry at the same time.
When playing online, you can purchase up to seven lines of numbers on a ticket. At a lottery retailer, you can select five lines per ticket, or alternatively you can ask the retailer for as many Lucky Dip entries as you would like.

Choose Your Draws
You can choose to enter the next Tuesday draw, the next Friday draw, or both.
At this point, you can also decide whether you want to play for two, three or four weeks in advance. It is possible to enter up to eight consecutive draws in advance if you select 'both draws' for four weeks.
If you do not wish to purchase for multiple draws in advance, you should leave these boxes blank.
Pay For Your Entries
It costs £2.50 for each line of numbers you enter into a single EuroMillions draw, so the price increases proportionally if you play multiple boards or select more than one draw.
After payment, you will receive your entries, including one UK Millionaire Maker raffle code for each line of numbers you have submitted. The cost of playing the UK Millionaire Maker is included in the price of a ticket.
Keep the Ticket Safe

If you have played EuroMillions at a National Lottery retailer, you will need your ticket to be able to claim any prizes it might win, so keep it in a safe place. There is also space on the back of your entry to put your name, address and signature, which would prevent someone else from claiming a large prize if the ticket is lost or stolen.
Playing online means that your tickets are automatically stored in your account and any prizes will be paid to you - there's no risk of losing or damaging your ticket.
Check the Results
It is up to you to check the results if you buy your EuroMillions tickets in-store, as you will not be notified if you win.
After a draw has taken place, you will be able to check the results from the main EuroMillions game, along with the winning Millionaire Maker code(s) on the results page.
